Young Ambassadors Generation 7

July 22, 2019- Day 12

Today we got up early to leave for St. Louis. It was about a 4 hour drive. When we arrived we stopped by a church, peace church. We had a good taco lunch there and afterwards played with some very young kids in a summer program called freedom school. Freedom school is for kids who dont recieve as much education as others. And freedom school originated in 1964 for african american childern. While we had a good time with the kids we had to eventually leave and head to where we are staying for our St. Louis trip. When we arrived and got into our rooms we all got ready and dressed up into our fancy clothes for dinner. Dinner was fantastic. I think the fries were really a big hit. After dinner we headed back to campus and took some awesome pictures. Then we ended the night with a great vespers led by Shaunae and Lara.
