July 13 2019- Day 3
Hey! Today has been a wonderful day. After waking up early and eating breakfast in the hotel we had a mini meeting before we all departed from each other and headed out with our German partners and families.
Columbus is about 2 and a half hours away from Evansville the car ride was VERY entertaining. Especially with the jokes of David & Sophie! We had many laughs on the way home. When we had gotten to our house we had been invited to Shaunae’s high school graduation party so we got settled in and headed straight for the lake! The first half of the day consisted of eating food, swimming, tubing, and soaking up the sun on the lake! 😊 After the party Sophie, Shaunae, Lara, and myself headed to Shaunae’s house. Before heading home to get showered and wash clothes my boyfriend and I had taken Sophie to try her FIRST taco in the US. Which she said she had liked very well. Now we are washing clothes and getting rested for tomorrow’s worship service!!
